Suit Up, Soldier was founded by vocalist Wesley Monahan while in college. After several years honing the band's sound and lineup in the competitive Provo music scene, Suit Up, Soldier coalesced with the additions of McKay 'Spartacus' Johnson on drums and Ryan 'Stingray' Rostrom on lead guitar. The band dropped their debut album 'Curse the Day I Act My Age' on May 14, 2021 on all digital music platforms.
In addition to her own releases, Mindy has also performed as a guest artist on multiple acclaimed projects, including Kaskade’s 2011 Grammy-nominated album, Fire & Ice. Her popularity has led to sold out shows across the US, as well as performances with remarkable musical groups ranging from orchestras and rock bands to bluegrass revivalists.
The album quickly generated buzz and has surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify. This led to regional touring, opportunities to open for established rock acts such as COIN and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and a record deal.
